To give the restaurant a true Mexican cantina atmosphere, the interior has been designed using a selection of paintings, photographs and other Mexican memorabilia. The ceiling of the restaurant is the original Victorian brickwork and together with the cast iron support pillars they also help to create a unique atmosphere.


The kitchen is located at the rear of the restaurant area and is well equipped with a full range fittings and equipment and meets all Local Authority and Public Health hygiene regulations.

Ladies, gents and disabled toilet facilities are located on the ground floor.

Maya Bar

Lower Ground Floor - Capacity 200

Accessed by an internal staircase from the ground floor entrance and a separate external entrance situated on Colquitt Street. Maya Bar is lavishly furnished with booth seating, loose low champagne tables and bar stools the floor is wood throughout.

The bar servery is equipped with a full range of beer dispense pumps, bottled beer cabinets and EPOS tills. Again, like the restaurant the theme of Maya is of a Mexican cantina.

Trading Hours

Both Lucha Libre and Maya Bar have the benefit of a full Premises Licence which allows them to serve alcohol between the hours of 10.00 a.m till 03.00 a.m. Monday to Sunday.
