Studio 2 is located on Parr Street an up and coming area for bars and restaurants in Liverpool City Centre. It is a short walking distance from the popular Fleet Street and Wood Street venues and the vibrant Concert Square area. (See location map below).


The Studio 2 bar is situated inside and part of the well known Parr Street Recording Studios, famous for recording early Oasis and other well known bands.

Ground Floor - Live Music Lounge

The main entrance leads into the music lounge which is used for live entertainment. The stage is fixed and is equipped with a sound-to-light system and the furniture is a mixture of loose tables, chairs, settees and fixed wall seating. To add interest to the lounge there is a good mixture of music memorabilia including photographs of the many bands and acts that have appeared in Studio 2. There is also a separate DJ unit which is linked in to the existing sound-to-light system.

Adjacent to the main concert lounge is a self-contained function suite which is used frequently and can cater for approximately 60 covers.

Ground Floor - Bar

Accessed from the music lounge is the bar area which has a bar servery equipped with back-bar refrigerated cabinets, beer dispense pumps and an EPOS till. The bar is furnished with a number of green leather stools and loose tables; there are 2 wall mounted plasma TVs. Again to add interest to the bar area there are a number of wall mounted memorabilia photographs of people and bands famous in the music business.

There is a small reasonably well equipped kitchen which is used for the preparation of food for the venue’s function trade.

Ladies and gents toilet facilities are located at the rear of the bar area.


Due to Studio 2 being located inside of the recording studios they pay no gas or electricity bills.

The bar also has the benefit of air conditioning and CCTV both inside and outside of the building.


Monday to Sunday 10.00 a.m. till 04.00 a.m.
