The Wine Lodge occupies a prominent location at the junction of Exmouth Street, Oliver Street and River Street, Birkenhead town centre. Ground Floor - Mezzanine Area

This area is accessed by stairs which are centrally located in the main bar lounge. The mezzanine area is furnished with loose tables, chairs and stools and number of fixed seating booths. This area can accommodate approximately 80 customers.

The Wine Lodge is very popular with sports fans and to accommodate them there are 2 large ceiling fitted drop down video screens and three wall mounted plasma TVs. They are presently connected to all sports TV channels i.e. Sky Sport and BT Sport. There are also 3 AWP machines and 2 skill machines in the bar.

Tap Room Bar

Access to this area can be gained from the main bar or a separate outside entrance located on Oliver Street. This bar still retains its original decor and furnishings which comprise of loose tables, chairs, stools and some fitted wall seating. To add to the traditional and comfortable feel of the bar there are still two coal burning fireplaces. A fixed stage with a sound-to-light system is located within this area.

The bar servery is well equipped with refrigerated bottle beer cabinets, beer dispense pumps, spirit optics, an ice making machine and 2 EPOS tills.

A disabled toilet and a gent’s toilet are located in this area.

Kitchen

The kitchen is situated at the rear of the bar/lounge and is fully equipped with a full range of equipment and fittings and passes all local authority and hygiene regulations.

First Floor

Comprises of a refrigerated beer cellar (goods are uplifted from ground floor delivery area by an electric lift), an administration office and a staff room with wash facilities and WC.

GENERAL

The property has the benefit of internal and external CCTV, gas central heating throughout and a security alarm system.

11.00 a.m. till 01.00 a.m. Monday to Sunday
